Medical case managers coordinate the medical care for their clients with the goal of expediting their recovery and reaching maximum medical improvement. Quality Care Management has an experienced and effective group of certified medical case managers with a vast range of service expertise including orthopedic, psychiatric, neurological, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. Many of QCM’s medical case managers hold special certifications. Our case managers have experience working coordinating care, in the field and at the office, for children, adults, and geriatrics. The medical case managers at QCM assist in controlling the costs associated with medical care by keeping the insurance companies and employers routinely apprised both over the telephone and in written status reports of the client’s actual needs in a medical update and by obtaining the needed medical opinions to document whether other health care issues are unrelated to the underlying medical claim. Our medical case management also involves coordinating the necessary arrangements for healthcare treatment, physical or mental therapy, surgery, discharge planning, home health care, nursing, durable medical equipment, attendant care, and replacement services.
